Emma turns 1

Emma is now officially a toddler!! On March 8th she took her first steps and that was right in line with her mommy. My mom told me I started walking the week of my first birthday too. She didn't really get moving until she hit 13 months but then she was off and running at full speed. :-)

Emma's first birthday was a huge hit! We had family and friends over to our house for fun and fellowship! It was even warm enough in MARCH to put a naked baby in a highchair outside to eat her smash cake. Here are some of the highlights from the party in photo form.

 

This was March 9th 2012 and Emma rocked her birthday outfit. 

The next day the party was on at the Wheeler home and we could not have had a better time!!

Thanks so much to Elle for letting us borrow her banner! It looked great!

Louise Runyan was so sweet and made us the cutest Peanut for guests to put their faces in to commemorate the day! Here is Emma giving it a go.

We forgot to take one of just the three of us but lucky for us Chris Michaels was there to snap a picture of us with Emma's cake that made my day!!

Then everyone left and Emma slept for 3 hours!! 

I can not over state how wonderful the day was and how bless we were to have so many of our loved ones there to celebrate with us!!

We were also lucky enough to have Jessica Ritchie to take some wonderful 1 year photos for us. Even after all the anxiety of finding the right thing to  wear I actually wish we could work with her every month because she captured so many amazing moments!!
