It's been toooooooooo long!

Wow....Where did the time go?!? It was just yesterday that we were getting ready for Emma's first Halloween...now we are already planning her first Christmas!! I will try to catch you up with out taking an hour to read!

Halloween was fun! We got to dress Emma up in her Halloween dress and since it's reversible it was two outfits!!

Then we had her cupcake costume!! From above you could see it was a cupcake...And although we didn't go out trick or treating this year we did get to wear our outfit at daycare!

And the ladies at work dressed up like CLUE characters!!

Then I got my good buddy Katie to help me make my pumpkin dreams come true with the help of her husband!

Emma got to go to her first Tri Delta Tailgate!!

Helped to cheer her daddy's team on to a spot in the National Championship game
We had our Bamma onzie on up top too but when Michael picked her up she spit up everywhere...and that weekend they lost to LSU...

Turned 8 months old

Got tubes

I went to Chicago to see my friend Courtney along with two other co-workers. We got to see the Miracle Mile light up and TWILIGHT!!

Thanksgiving in Alabama was next on our list and the trip was GREAT! Emma traveled very well for such a little girl and such a long drive! It was great seeing my mother in law, who hopes to be called Grandmother once Emma starts talking!

And Michael's mom is doing much better. So since her hair fell out we had to get a bald picture! Ironically Saundra has the most hair of anyone in the picture!! Three generations. :-)

Emma moved to MOBIL infant!! And is loving every minute!

Dinner and a bath with her main man...Denton Russell

Mom and dad came up while Michael was at drill to help me decorate for the holiday!! Turns out Emma could care less about the tree and the decorations so I worried for nothing. :-)

Katie rocked our picture world again with Baby in a Box!!
Emma turned 9 months old AND won the 5 News Mug in the morning all in the same day!
This was her winning picture. :-)

I went to Marion to celebrate 31st birthdays with two of my best friends from high school. (Since we all couldn't get together for their 30th's last year!)

WHEW!!! That was a world wind picture extravaganza!! :-) Hopefully as the new year approaches I will get better about keeping up with this. Too much happens and I will likely forget if I don't put it down somewhere! :-)

Be blessed!!

It's a great pumpkin Emma Jean!

This past weekend Michael, Emma and I ventured out to Farmland Adventures in Springdale to meet up with my good friends The Michaels! I couldn't wait to put Emma down in the pumpkin patch and get tons of smiles. Emma did smile but her new favorite facial expression is confusion...she has made that into an art form!

And I have to say that I like this look too! I do love to see her smile in delight but something tells me she's not confused...quite the opposite, she's taking it all in. All of her surroundings, the smells, sights, sounds and the taste of ANYTHING she can put into her mouth!

Chris Michaels is starting to take pictures too and we were so happy to let him shoot Emma in some of what I think are the cutest photo's ever!

We were even able to get a family shot which is no easy task since both Emma and Michael aren't huge fans of having their photos taken. ;-)

And here are Kristen and I with our little girls! We all loved that instead of Emma and Sara Kate looking at the camera they are enthralled with each other!

Chris took some great photos and if you are in the market you should check him out!

Emma is blessed with getting some hand me downs from Zoe and this time she got some great overalls that just begged to be worn at another pumpkin patch. This time we went to Sequoah United Methodist Church where they have a great set up for people looking for some pre-made photo op locations! Here are some of my favorite ones.

She wasn't in the mood to smile but she sure loved the access to all the hay she could get her hands on! And pumpkin stems! And leaves!! ;-D

I don't know about everyone else out there but I am READY for Thanksgiving! One of my coworkers keeps saying that she thinks Thanksgiving is just 2 weeks away and I wish that was true!! We are going down to Alabama to introduce Emma to Michael's side of the family and I almost can't wait!! Only Saundra (my mother in law) has gotten to see her so far and I just want to show her off! And speaking of Saundra we also have great news. She had some cancer removed from her lung almost three weeks ago and because it was the same type of cancer that they had removed from her colon almost a year ago they took some lymph nodes to do some tests...and they came back CLEAR! So no more chemo or radiation and since she has already gone through a round of that for another cancer this year was are SOOOO thankful for the healing that God has brought her! My list of things I am thankful for are really never ending!!

Well that should do it for now. Busy weekend of wedding coordinating with my bestie Bethany, a visit from Poppy and lots of fun times with Daddy!

Be blessed!

He's BACK!!!

And we couldn't be happier!

Last week was a whirl wind for us. Michael made great time driving back and actually got home on Saturday at 9. We had a great time with a week off together. Emma did wonderful getting reacquainted with Daddy and Daddy did great letting me rest in the night when Emma woke. And yes I said woke...Emma has been sleeping through the night for at least a month now but for some reason she started waking up. That reason was later realized when we took her to the doctor at 7:30 on Thursday night with 102 temp only to find out she had her 4th ear infection. She has had 1 a month since she was 2 months old so we now have a consultation with Dr. Johnson at ENT of the Ozarks on the 26th. If tubes is what she needs then tubes is what she will get!

During the week Emma went to day care and we hung out together getting to go to lunch, get spa treatments and catch up with friends who are no longer in the area. The week flew by but it was exactly what we needed after 8 weeks apart.

Here are some photos from our week together!

All dressed up for church

Daddy feeding me cereal for the first time!

Mike and Erin Coleman were able to come by for dinner while they were in town.

Ready to see LaLa and Mrs. Samantha at Just Like Home

And finally soooo happy it's Friday!

Poppi will be here at 4:30!!

Dad's gone this weekend for drill but at least Poppi will be here to love on me! Emma and I are truly blessed!!!

Take care and be blessed!
